Breast Friends Fundraising Gala

Breast Friends hosted their 13th Annual Fundraising Gala on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 at DoubleTree Lloyd Center in Portland, Oregon. We were honored to be asked to capture photos of this fun Gala that supports such an amazing cause.

“Breast Friends is a unique resource for women, their families and friends; striving to minimize the fear and isolation of cancer. Our staff of dedicated women, through their personal journeys, understand the challenges that a diagnosis can bring. They get it! They have so many amazing resources for women.”

We really enjoy sharing our photography with such an amazing organization that helps so many women and their family’s. This cause is near and dear to both Eric & I as both our moms have been effected by breast cancer. Eric’s mom is a breast cancer survivor (lucky it was caught early and she is ok) and my mom had a Brest cancer scare about 15 years ago. We had no idea that these rescuers were available and want to make sure everyone knows about Brest Friends and the wonderful work they do. We highly recommend Brest Friends to anyone who want to donate to a cause that truly cares and takes care of so many wonderful people.

It was such a fun night with host Daria O'Neill who we both listened to quite a bit on the radio. Let me tell you she is so such a hoot in person. She made us laugh, cry and want to get our check book out for this amazing cause. Also the Portland Beardsmen participated at the auction by showcasing each item up for bids, while stunting around in famous tutu’s.
